Accessibility in Tabememo
Tabememo continues to improve the meal-recording, search, and lookback experience so that more people can use it comfortably.
Supported on iPhone and iPad
- Larger Text: Core text and controls reflow or scroll without overlapping when text is enlarged to 200% or more.
- Differentiate Without Colour Alone: States such as “Want to revisit” and “Want to go” use text and icons in addition to colour.
- Sufficient Contrast: Core text, icons, and controls are designed to remain distinguishable from their backgrounds.
- Reduced Motion: When Reduce Motion is enabled in iOS, Tabememo removes the scaling animation used for favourite actions. Other in-app motion is kept to a minimum.
We evaluate these features on iPhone and iPad simulators across core screens, including first launch, records, search, lookbacks, settings, and the purchase screen.
Current scope
- A dark interface is not currently available.
- Core controls include accessible names and roles for VoiceOver and Voice Control. We are still completing Apple’s full common-task evaluation, so we do not currently list either feature as supported on the App Store.
- Tabememo has no video or audio content that requires captions or audio descriptions.
